Luis is the founder of the Dallas Salsa Congress 2006 and ever since has been bringing world class performers to Dallas. He is also the organizer of the Lone Star Salsa Fest at Cowboys Stadium in 2011, as well as Salsa Conventions in Dallas, Houston, San Antonio, Austin and New Orleans from 2001 to 2006 and I Love Salsa Congress.
He has also organized several concerts including Gilberto Santa Rosa, Frank Reyes, Eddie Santiago, Oscar D'Leon, Gran Combo, Victor Manuelle, Melcochita, Huey Dunbar, Charanga Habanera, and Xtreme.

Luis began the Guajiro Dance Company in 2001, the performing branch for SalsaDallas.com. He has been teaching students performance Salsa ever since.
